A video that I made for Scott Mickelson of the band Fat Opie.
Please take some time to head over to Locks Of Love to find out how you can help. They need more than just our hairs.
Clair knew that she shouldn’t have responded to the craigslist ad that said “Looking for attractive cupcakes for a free photo shoot.” The hungry eyed photographer said that he was trying to build his portfolio of head shots but inside she knew that in just a few tense moments he would begin to insist that she take her wrapper off. She knew that he would compliment her on her sprinkles, tell her she was delicious, he would say anything in the world if he thought that it would help him to take her cherry.
Earl heard the cheap camera flick away behind him and knew that it was time to start the show. Finny always said that she would catch him in the shower one day, so as he peered over his shoulder, water pooling at his feet, he knew what he was going to do next. Drop the towel Earl… Drop the towel and dance.
My normal approach to releasing songs is to write them, tinker with them in live performances, go to the studio to record them, and then put them out on a record. It seems to me that there are far too many steps between my heart and my mouth in that process so I am going to try it a different way for a bit. This is a new song that I wrote, recorded, and shot a video for in just a couple of days. It’s not as polished as I am used to but it sure feels good to get music out quickly, whether or not this new process sells songs is still up in the air.
This song is called “Timeless Love” and the star of the video is Barkley.
Yesterday I ran my first 10k. Actually it was my first race of any kind ever, but it happened to be a 10k. This photo was taken seconds after finishing, and I couldn’t have been happier.
